Bingo Night a Great Success

Congratulations to the Parents Support Group for the very successful Bingo Night that they ran on 19th March in the Parish Centre.

Young and old thoroughly enjoyed the occasion as the packed hall waited with anticipation on the numbers being called out.  You could have heard a pin drop during the last game which was for the £100 jackpot.  Well done to all of the winners

Thanks are extended to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle, to our bingo caller, helpers and members of the Parent Support Group.  The great support from parents, children and the local community enabled £500 to be raised on the night.

Family Bingo Night and other Parent Support Group Events

Family Bingo Night

The Parents Support Group invites you all to a Family Bingo Night in the Parish Hall at 7pm on Friday 19th March 2010.  The cost is £5 for a full book and £2.50 for half a book.  Prizes will be awarded for winning lines and a prize of £10 will be awarded for each of the winners of a full house.  Refreshments will be served at the interval and raffle tickets will be on sale for a selection of prizes.  

We look forward to seeing you and joining in the fun.

Other events coming up include:

  • Golfing Day on Thursday 13th May, further details to follow;
  • Family Fun Day/Night – This will take place in September 2010.

Further details on these events will be circulated to you and available on the School’s Website.

Change of arrangements for PSG Meeting on Friday, 5th March at 7pm in the Millbrook Lodge

The PSG meeting planned for Friday 5th March at 7pm in the Millbrook Lodge to firm up on arrangements for the Family Bingo to be held on Friday 19th March has beeen changed to Tuesday, 9th March.  The venue and time are the same.  Apologies for the short notice.

The Parents Support Group would like to say a 'very big thank you' to everyone who donated items/bought tickets for thier Hamper Raffle.  We had a fantastic response which enables us to raffle eight hamper, raising £346 for school funds.  This money will go towards a new lighting system to complement the recently installed sound system in the gym.  Congratulations to everyone who won.

Christmas Hamper Ballet

The Parents Support Group have organised a Ballet for several Christmas Hampers.  Tickets are available fom the school and can also be purchased at the Wednesday morning and Thursday evening showing of the KS2 play.  Thnkas to the members of the PSG who have given of their time to arrange the ballet and thanks to all of the parents who contributed something to the hamper.
