Parents Support Group

PSG Presentation

Sincere thanks are extended to our Parent Support Group who recently presented a cheque for £3,500.  This money will help purchase much needed resources and equipment and pay for the subsidised trip to the Opera House at Christmas.  Thank you to all of those parents and members of the community who so generously support the PSG events.

365 Draw Winners

Congratulations to Mrs Elizabeth McGreevy on winning the first prize of £100 in the PSG 365 draw.  Congratulations also to Mrs Hanna on winning the second prize of £50.

Thanks to the PSG for all of their support throughout the year and to the P7 boys and girls for making the draw.

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE

We are hoping to repeat the success of last years Christmas Hamper raffle.  The raffle will be held at the production of "Jack and the Beanstalk".

Again we are asking for your help in providing non-perishable food items to make up the hampers. In order to get a variety of items we have shared the items per class.

  • P.1/P.2 tinned soup/beans/spaghetti/tuna
  • P.3       tinned fruit/custard/rice pudding/vegetables
  • P.4       biscuits/shortbread/crackers for cheese
  • P.5       bag of sweets/Pringles/mints
  • P.6       soft drinks/fruit juice/small jar of coffee or box of tea
  • P.7       jar of jam/honey/marmalade/cranberry sauce

If you would like to donate as a family/group of friends, we would be very grateful for boxes of crackers/sweets/small Christmas cake or pudding/bottle of wine.

Donations can be left in the office or sent in with your child if safe to do so. The closing date for donations is Wednesday 14th December.

The members of the P.S.G. are very aware of the financial constraints that many of us are facing this year. We are extremely grateful for the support given by parents/guardians/families to any of our fundraising activities. Please be assured that all money raised is, and always will be, for the benefit of all the children in the school.

Thanking you, again, in anticipation of your donations and support,

Bingo Night a great success

Our recent bingo night at the Parish Centre was a great success. So many people turned up that we almost ran out of bingo books, and had to fit in extra tables and chairs. Over £500 was raised. Many thanks to al who supported this night.
