Choir Competition in Assumption Grammar School

Excitement is building amongst the members of the choir as the competition, annually held in Assumption Grammar School, fast approaches.  Preparations are going well thanks to the hard work of Miss Delaney who has worked wonders with the children.
We wish our choir every susccess in the competition which takes place on 5th February.
Keep up the good work boys and girls!

NOTICE OF ELECTION OF PARENT GOVERNOR

The Board of Governors of St Patrick’s Primary School is currently being reconstituted and is required to have a parent representative as a member. To facilitate this an election of a Parent Governor will take place.

If you would like to stand for the position of Parent Governor please call into the school at your earliest convenience and collect a nomination form and details of the arrangements for the election.

The closing date for nominations is 3.00pm on Wednesday, 27th January 2010.

Monthly Behaviour Awards

Congratulations also go to P3 and Mrs O'Connor's P7 class for winning the Behaviour awards.

Attendance

The Top Attendance award for the month of December went to P2/3 with the Most Improved Attendance going to P6.

Reading Partnership

Well done to the boys and girls who successfully completed the Reading Partnership Programme.

 

ADMISSION TO ST PATRICK'S PRIMARY SCHOOL AND MAGHERADROLL NURSERY UNIT

Applications are now welcome from parents of children due to start Primary 1 in St Patrick's Primary School or enrol in Magheradroll Nursery in September 2010.

Please call in to the school secretary for your application form and other documantation which will tell you about the school or nursery and provide you with information which you will find helpful when completing the form.

 

Applications should be returned to the school by Wednesday, 20th January 2010.

Christmas Trip to Coco's

Well done to all of the house teams who won the trip to Coco's today.  Everyone enjoyed the trip, with lots of bouncing, sliding, climbing and swinging.  Even Mr Coulter was brave enough to have a go at the freefall and after a lot of encouragement from the boys and girls he got enough courage to take the plunge!
